Luckily, no one was hurt when the car I was in (driven by a dear friend and with her 2 littlest ones in the back) hit a car that ran a yield sign. But it's true, most accidents happen close to home! This one happened less than 2 blocks from where both of the cars involved live. Needless to say, we did not get to go sledding and snowshoeing in the mountains today - but we had a good day anyway. There was even a rainbow this afternoon!
