I got a cool new paper cutter the other day, which I have now used to make several christmas presents....and I'm learning how to block knitting projects (though it didn't work...the scarf still curls in). Nothing like an evening of crafting and watching movies. I love being on vacation! (If you can call it vacation when you spent most of the day at the office working on your thesis.)
